What protects a booking, and what does not.
Partners carry other people's property and visit their homes and shops, so each one is checked before the first job. Below are the safeguards that exist in the product today. We list them plainly, and we say where they stop.
Your goods are handed to a person who was checked.
Partners are independent, and each one is checked before the first job. These are the things that are actually in the product.
Two people check each partner's identity papers
Aadhaar, PAN, driving licence and the police verification certificate each need two different reviewers. The database refuses one person signing both.
A code to collect, a code to deliver
The partner needs your pickup code to take the goods and the receiver's delivery code to finish the drop. The delivery code is the proof of delivery.
Police verification, decided by a person
Every partner uploads a police verification certificate. Nothing is rejected by a machine; a record goes to a senior reviewer who did not raise it.
Vehicle papers that lapse stop the partner
RC, insurance, permit and fitness/PUC carry expiry dates. A lapsed licence or insurance takes the partner off duty until it is replaced.
Photos of what you sent
You add one to four photos of the goods when you book, and they stay with the order if anything is disputed.
A tracking link for the receiver
Share a live link with whoever is receiving. It needs no app and no account, and stops working a day after delivery.
What it does not mean
- Partners are independent contractors, not Mioryde employees. Mioryde is the platform that connects you to them.
- A check at sign-up is not a guarantee about every future trip. Papers lapse and are re-checked, and a partner whose paper expires goes off duty until it is renewed.
- Cover for goods lost or damaged is limited, and has conditions. Read section 8 of the Terms of Service before you send something valuable.
If something goes wrong
- Open the delivery in the app and choose Help to report damage with a photo. A person reviews every claim.
- Report loss or damage within 48 hours of delivery, with photographs and the delivery code (refund policy).
- Not resolved? Use the grievance route.
- Goods we cannot carry are listed under prohibited items.
